Highlights from the Riverview Raiders vs. North Catholic Trojans Game on Friday Night

Here are some stats.

The Riverview High School Raiders football team now has a 2-2 record for the season.

During a Friday night away game against the North Catholic Trojans, the Raiders lost with a 20-6 score.

There were no scoring drives in the first quarter.

In the second quarter, Trojan quarterback Brandt Gibbon passed a 56 yard reception to tight end Ralph Meder for a touchdown. Zac Miller’s kick for the extra point was good.

In the third quarter, Raider quarterback, Corey Bickert ran 6 yards for a touchdown, unfortunately the two point conversion failed afterward.

Gibbon also had an 18 yard run for a Trojan touchdown. The extra point after went wide.

Trojan running back Bobby Stark had a 4 yard run for a touchdown, and Sam Newcamps kick for the extra point was good.

In the fourth quarter, there were no scoring drives.

Overall:

RHS total rushing yards: 146

RHS total passing yards: 38

Defense:

Raider Sean Provenza had 1 sack for the Raiders defense. He also ended the night with 17 tackles.

Raider Jeff Houston had 1 interception in which he ran for 34 yards.

Raider Allen Mitchell forced a fumble.

Player highlights:

Raider quarterback Corey Bickert completed 5 out of 17 passes and threw one interception.

Raider running back Ricardo Nunley carried the ball 10 times and ended the night with 59 yards.

Raider wide receiver Tim Wagner had 4 receptions for 37 yards.
