Boyce Park Wave Pool to Offer Free Swimming Lessons
Four sessions will be offered in July.
Plum, Oakmont and Verona residents can take advantage of free swimming lessons for children in July.
The Allegheny County Parks Department will provide free swimming lessons at the Boyce Park Wave Pool from 10 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays.
The classes are open to children five and older. Pre-registration is not required.

Classes for individuals with last names beginning with “A” through “K will start Tuesday, July and will also meet on July 10, 17 and 24. Classes for individuals with last names beginning with “L” through “Z” will start on Thursday July 5, and will also meet on July 12,19 and 26.
Lessons also will be held throughout the region at North, Settlers Cabin and South parks.
