St. John the Baptist's Fun-Filled Festival Weekend Begins Wednesday

The annual festival in Plum has something for everyone.

in Plum will its Annual Family Festival Wednesday through Saturday on the church grounds.

The event will feature a variety of food including selections from the Midway Grill and Big Top Diner, as well as a snack , bake stand, ice cream stand and funnel cakes. New food items include corn on the cob, meatball hoagies, fruit cups, Philly steak and cheese, and crab cakes (on Friday only).

There also will be a beer tasting booth and fresh lemonade.

Entertainment at the festival includes bingo, a basket auction, Kiddieland, inflatable rides and nightly entertainment.

Festival times

Food will be served beginning at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday through Friday, and the festival will begin at 7. On Saturday, the festival—food and games—will begin at 6 p.m.

Kiddieland closes at 9:30 p.m. and the festival closes at 10:30 p.m. on Wednesday and Thursday. On Friday and Saturday, Kiddieland closes at 10 p.m. and the festival closes at 10:30 p.m.

The church is at 444 St. John St.
