Make Your Blood Count

Oakmont resident and Oakmont Presbyterian Church Choir member Keith Amos continues to battle stage IV diffused large B cell leukemia.  As a part of his treatment he receives blood transfusions.  Last January a blood drive was held to replenish supplies in the Central Blood Bank that Keith had used.  The blood from that drive has been diminished and is in need of replacement again.

To sign up to donate blood for Keith Amos on line go to the Central Blood Bank website and click on Where to Donate in the upper right hand corner the upper right hand corner.  A map of locations and hours of operation will lead you to a site for you to make your donation.  Click on Make an Appointment and follow the instructions given.

A drive specifically for Keith is being held at the Oakmont Presbyterian Church on Sunday, October 13th from 8:30 am until 1:30 pm.  Oakmont Presbyterian Church is located at the corner of Fifth Street and Pennsylvania Avenue in Oakmont.  If you would like to register for that drive contact David Geis at 724-443-5447.
