some fresh, out of the oven apple dumplings! The Verona United Methodist Church Apple Dumpling Gang is at it again. The start-up date is Wednesday, Oct. 2; the cost is $3.50 per dumpling. For four and possibly five Wednesdays in October “The AD Gang” will begin at 9:30 to heat up the ovens, roll out the dough, prepare the apples, and bake them to perfection. If you would like to order dumplings, call the church office at 412-828-8844. You will be able to have a Wednesday pick-up date and serve them for dessert that night.
Gather your friends together and get your costume ready for the first ever Verona Zombie Bar Crawl on October 12 from 7 to 8:30 pm. It will begin at event host’s Rivertowne Inns on James Street with hostess Lisa Fykes, owner, presiding. All proceeds will be used to benefit Verona’s Streetscape Project.
