"Get Pinked" at the Platinum Pooch Pet Salon & Spa
The Verona business has been working on month to raise money and awareness for breast cancer.
Breast Cancer Awareness month is in October, but the Platinum Pooch Pet Salon & Spa in Verona has been working on its "Get Pinked" campaign to raise awareness all this month.
For the remainder of September, Platinum Pooch is offering pink spa packages, temporary non-toxic pink pet tattoos, pink ribbon collar charms, bows and bandanas.
Proceeds from all items sold through the "Get Pinked" campaign will benefit the Pittsburgh affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure. Platinum Pooch will present a check to the foundation on Oct. 2 during the benefit at Hartwood Acres.
