The in Oakmont will be collecting book and monetary donations this week for the county bookmobile.

This year's Angel Fund aims to outfit an entire Allegheny County Library Association Bookmobile—that would be nearly 1,000 books.

On Sunday, Nov. 20 at 3 p.m., the Bookmobile will be visiting Mystery Lovers Bookshop to promote the Angel Fund. It also will be open for tours.

The Bookmobiles are operated by the Allegheny County Library Association and they visit Head Start and pre-school programs throughout the county. Through the program children get their first—and sometimes second—library cards. They're able to take one home and keep one at school. Teachers also can check out storytelling books.

Anyone interested in helping can purchase books from the county list at Mystery Lovers and receive a 20-percent discount. People also can make cash or check donations, as well as adding an Angel Gift in any amount to credit card purchases.
