Volunteers Sought to Help Clean Up Allegheny River Boulevard in Verona

Residents and volunteers will get together on Sunday, Sept. 25, to trim overgrown trees along the boulevard.

Verona residents and volunteers are getting together on Sunday, Sept. 25, to clear the overgrowth along Allegheny River Boulevard between the Oakmont/Verona border and the Rivertown Shopping Center.

The group is looking for volunteers who can spare some time on Sunday morning to help.

Anyone interested should meet along Allegheny River Boulevard at 8 a.m. If possible, bring garden tools, gloves, racks, pruning shears, shovels, etc.

Volunteers should wear brightly colored clothing to be more visible to motorists.
