It’s Homecoming Time: Riverview, Plum Set to Kick Off Festivities

Fall officially is here, and with it comes the annual homecoming festivities.

Both Plum and Riverview school districts will celebrate homecoming this weekend. More details on the games and dances are below.

Riverview

Riverview High School kicks off homecoming with a parade on Friday, Sept. 27.

The parade, including the band and members of the homecoming court, will line up in Verona near the police station at 5:30 p.m. with stop off at 6:15 p.m.

This year’s queen will be crowned during halftime of the football game as the Raiders take on Wilkinsburg.

The dance is scheduled to take place in the high school cafeteria from 7 to 10 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 28.

The cost per ticket is $10 per couple or $6 for a single ticket.

Plum’s homecoming football game will be held Friday. Sept. 27. 

The dance will take place from 7 to 10 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 28 at the high school’s main gym.

The cost per ticket is $10 per single person and $20 per couple.
