The new Oakmont 5K will be held on Saturday, June 22.
The annual 5K, which was called the Twin Boros 5K in previous years, will be staying in Oakmont this year. The race is benefitting the Falling Springs Run Park, which is located at the end of Fifth Street (across Hulton Road). Crews and volunteers are in the process of working on building mountain bike trails in the park.
Registration for the race begins at 7:30 a.m. at Riverside Park. The race starts at 9 a.m. The cost is $20.
