Welcome Wagon Alive and Kicking!

Hello, my name is Barbara Sheffield, and I am the local Community Marketing Executive for the Monroeville/Plum area and the Westmoreland area Welcome Wagon.

Many of you may remember the name Welcome Wagon recalling women going door to door delivering baskets of goodies from local businesses to new members of the community.  Well, moving forward with the times, Welcome Wagon no longer delivers baskets, but rather gift books packed full of offers from exclusive businesses in the community.

Local businesses that are included become the exclusive partner in their particular category, meaning if "ABC Dentistry" decided to join the gift book, then no other Dentists could participate.  Exclusivity brings a valuable component to each business participating.

Each month these gift books are mailed out to new homeowners in the area welcoming them to their new community.  Each book is packed full of exclusive offers, a community phone directory, and a place to store important numbers, creating a desk reference for the new homeowner. They also receive follow-up postcards from each business with an offer and an "Especially for You" mailing.

DID YOU KNOW:  New homeowners spend 22% more their first year of owning a home.

When businesses participate, they receive an EXCLUSIVE Recommendation To The New Families Moving Into that Book Area. They also receive Two Full Page Ads, A Welcome Offer, A 30-day Follow-up piece, A 90-day Follow-up piece, A Link to YOUR Website, The Names and Addresses of the New Homeowners, AND Welcome Wagon takes care of All Printing, Postage, & Mailing!

These gift books are mailed out to new homeowners in an area each month reaching thousands of new homeowner annually.

Currently, we are accepting partners for the Monroeville/Plum, Irwin, Murrysville, and Greensburg Gift Books. Welcome Wagon invites you to join us in welcoming new homeowners to our communities!

DID YOU KNOW: New homeowners are typically 2 income families with children?
