Carnivores is a great place, with the best of everything you look for in a local sports bar....great food, a large selection of beer and cocktails, a friendly (and good looking) staff, and tons of TV's to watch your favorite sporting events. Although I only visit the area a few times a year, I've always been welcomed back, and have been treated like one of the Carnivores regulars. This is one of my favorite bars anywhere.

Carnivores has something for everyone as far as our family is concerned. My wife can enjoy her favorite hard to find beers that we never get at home, the kids can watch tv during dinner and while they wait for their food to come (which is a lifesaver when we go out to eat!), and I love the wings and beer selection. It's a great casual family dinner spot (the kids can be loud and it doesn't matter), and it's also awesome for a late night out with friends.

My husband and I have been "regulars" since moving to Oakmont 10 years ago. In fact, we made a decision over lunch and a beer to make an offer on our first home in Oakmont back in July 2002. We pooled our "Giant Eagle shopping money for the day", went to the owners and made an offer with our Giant Eagle "hand money", the owners accepted our offer and now 10 years later STILL CUSTOMERS at our favorite place to dine, drink and watch sports. Very family friendly and since remodeling a great place for us and others to "hang out"! So, like others a 5 star rating from us to you...and the staff is wonderful, always seem to know what it is we regularly order and welcome us each time like old friends (like Cheers...everyone knows you if not your name your presence each time we visit ) Jerry and Alicia.
