Redeemer Lutheran Church & School is located at the top of Pennsylvania Avenue in Oakmont. The church was organized in 1900 with just eight families and occupied its first building in Oakmont in 1901. Since then the church has grown and expanded to a congregation of 250 members. The current building was dedicated in 1980. In 1983 the church established the school and now offers classes for pre-school.
