Former Senior Center Director Enters County ARD Program in Theft Case
Vanessa DuVall is accused of stealing close to $10,000 from the Oakmont facility.
A former Riverview Community Action Corp. director accused of embezzling money from the senior center will complete an Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition program. Last week, Vanessa M. DuVall, 39, of New Kensington had an ARD hearing before Allegheny County Court of Common Pleas Judge Robert C. Gallo. She was admitted into the program for 18 months. According to the state code, the program is intended to encourage offenders to make a fresh start after participation in a rehabilitative program and offers them the possibility of a clean record if they successfully complete the program.
