'Tis the season to shop, shop, shop. Black Friday actually begins on Thanksgiving night at several of the big retailers. So how can you make sure you get the most out of this most intense of shopping seasons? Plan Ahead Know which stores or malls you're going to hit first? Plan ahead! All local malls will be closed on Thanksgiving Day. The Monroeville Mall in Monroeville will open on Black Friday from 4 a.m. to 10 p.m. Macy's, however, will be open at midnight and close at 10 p.m. All stores at the Pittsburgh Mills in Frazer Township will be opening between midnight and 6 a.m. on Black Friday.
