Plum Police Reports: Assaulting Officers, Theft, Burglary

Here are the Plum police reports for Jan. 2 to Jan. 7.

The following incidents were reported to the Plum Police Department. Information was obtained from call logs and police reports. Assault A Plum woman faces charges after being accused of assaulting police. Alexis Monique Hall, 28, of Plum was charged with reckless driving, driving at an unsafe speed, failure to stop at a stop sign, two counts of endangering the welfare of children, two counts of recklessly endangering another person, three counts of resisting arrest and three counts of aggravated assault. According to the police report, officers were called to Maple Street for an incident involving Hall. As officers were speaking to a nearby resident, Hall sped down the road in her vehicle, made a three-point turn at the Maple Street/Apple…

Oakmont Woman Charged With Child Endangerment After Son Wanders

Here's a roundup of Oakmont police items that occurred over the weekend.

Oakmont police have issued an arrest warrant for a woman after her young son was found wandering the streets alone. On Saturday, July 14, just before 7:30 p.m., police were called to Allegheny River Boulevard after people noticed a young boy—about 3 years old—running along the street alone and without any shoes. According to police Chief David DiSanti, the boy only knew his name and didn't have a lot of information. After conducting an investigation, they found out where he lived. DiSanti said the boy's mother, Carrie Lynn Tomanio of Plum Street, will be charged with endangering the welfare of children. An arrest warrant has been issued. Oakmont Woman Injured in Vehicle-Pedestrian Accident

Here are the Oakmont police reports for April 12 to April 24.

An 82-year-old Oakmont woman was injured in a vehicle-pedestrian accident last week. On April 20, police were called to the 800-block of Allegheny River Boulevard after reports of the accident. According to police, a motorist traveling on Allegheny River Boulevard stopped in order to let the elderly woman cross the street. Police said the motorist waved to the woman, telling her to go ahead. However, a motorist on Porte Street waiting to make the left on to Allegheny River Boulevard mistook the signal from the other motorist as an OK to go, and hit the woman as she crossed the street. Police are charging the motorist—also an Oakmont resident—with right of way to a pedestrian. However, the citation has not been filed in court yet. The woman…
