The Oakmont Bakery is considered one of the nation's best! The local bakery came out on top in Bake magazine's "America's Best Bakeries" contest. The winner was announced late on Monday. Oakmont Bakery was one of a half dozen nominees selected this year by Bake magazine and featured on The Baking Channel's popular web TV series, "Discovering America’s Bakeries." People were asked to vote for their favorite bakery in an online poll. Oakmont Bakery received 54 percent of the vote. It will be featured in Bake's June edition.
