Plum District Justice Linda Zucco heard the following cases on March 27: Charges of aggravated assault, terroristic threats, harassment and disorderly conduct against Micah Spencer, 31, of Oakmont, were withdrawn. Oakmont police had filed the charges after a March 13 incident along Hulton Road. Ritchie Delvon Benjamin, 21, of Penn Hills waived a preliminary hearing on charges of possession of marijuana, driving without a license, careless driving, no rear lights, no use of low beams and two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance. The following incidents were reported to the Plum Police Department. Information was obtained from incident reports and call logs. DUI Donald Ray Cyphert, 32, of DuBois was charged with endangering the welfare of children and two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance after a Jan. 1 incident on Coxcomb Hill Road. The following incidents were reported to the Oakmont Police Department. Information was obtained from call logs and police reports. Drug charges Julian Robert Garner, 22, of Oakmont was charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, possession of a controlled substance and five counts of prohibited acts after a Nov. 15 incident on Hulton Road. A Verona juvenile faces drug charges after a Nov. 16 incident on the 600 block of Allegheny River Boulevard. Here are the Plum police reports for Sept. 18 to Sept. 24.
A Plum resident is facing charges after selling an ATV and then telling police it was stolen. Sherry McCune, 39, of Plum was charged with false reports to law enforcement after a May 22 incident on Unity Center Road. According to police, McCune sold a 2004 Honda quad and then allowed her daughter to report it stolen. Police filed the charges Sept. 22. The following incidents also were reported to the Plum Police Department. Information was obtained from call logs and police reports.
