In Northampton County, a youth also died when the all-terrain vehicle he was riding hit a fallen tree, according to the Associated Press. On …

Students in the Plum School District and St. John the Baptist School are operating on a normal schedule Tuesday. Unlike many schools in the region, the district did not implement a two-hour delay or a cancellation due to the Hurricane Sandy Superstorm. Those issued will be relayed to bus drivers, he said. Glasspool also said he checked with the borough road maintenance crew this morning, and no problems had been reported. "All of our buildings have power and our network is operating at 100 percent," he said. The district, however, will have a previously-scheduled one-hour early …
