Barbara Ryan Ride Barbara Ryan Ride, of Longwood at Oakmont, died on February 6, 2013, at the age of 87. Barbara was the beloved wife for 65 years of Frederick Glenn Ride; loving mother of Marcia (Lewis) Beckwith, Margaret Peterson, Nancy Lynn Ride, Judith (John) Murray; sister of the late Robert Ryan; grandmother of Laura (Raymond) Buchner, Greg (Jennifer) Beckwith, Erica and Mark Peterson, Kimberly Murray and Gretchen (David) Miller; great-grandmother of Raymond and Anderson; sister-in-law of Virginia Ryan. Barbara was a graduate of Geneva College and the University of Pittsburgh School of Nursing. She was a member of Oakmont Presbyterian Church and the Oakmont Country Club.
