High school students have been showing their love for the Pittsburgh Penguins since 2010.
In honor of the possible start to the Pittsburgh Penguins' season next weekend, WTAE is holding a poll featuring some of the hockey team's devoted fans—Plum High School students. The Pittsburgh TV station is asking readers on its website to vote for their favorite Plum High School Penguins lipdub. A lipdub is a one-take video that shows students supporting the Pens in the hallways, classrooms and throughout the school. Students have filmed videos and posted them to YouTube since 2010. To watch the videos and vote, click here. Voting ends Saturday, Jan. 19. ____________________ Plum-Oakmont Patch is on Facebook and on Twitter. The video will air at Pittsburgh Penguins games at the Consol Energy Center.
For the third year in a row, the Plum High School Mustangs are supporting the Pittsburgh Penguins with a lipdub video. A lipdub is a one-take video that shows students supporting the Pens in the hallways, classrooms and throughout the school—there's an extra scene at "the happiest place on Earth." This year's video is about 9 minutes long with about 4 more minutes of extra footage. It runs to "It's My Life" by Bon Jovi, "I Like How It Feels" by Enrique Iglesias and Pitbull, and "Heroes" by the Wallflowers. More than 200 students went to the high school to film on March 30. Special guests include Miss Pennsylvania Juliann Sheldon and Iceburg. _______________________ Plum-Oakmont Patch is on Facebook and on Twitter. Don't forget to sign …
