Annual Veterans Day Ceremony Held at Oakmont-Verona Cemetery
Redeemer Lutheran School in Oakmont honored veterans with a ceremony and parade on Monday.
Veterans were honored by students and faculty of Redeemer Lutheran School on Monday. The school's annual Veterans Day parade and ceremony began in the morning, when students, faculty, the community and veterans marched from the school to the Oakmont-Verona Cemetery. A service was held, and students thanked the veterans for their service to the country with songs, written passages and poems. Veterans Day was on Sunday, Nov. 11.
