More snow is expected later today.
Plum and Oakmont streets aren't covered in the predicted six inches of snow, but residents are not out of the woods yet. The National Weather Service is predicting snow showers all day with an expected accumulation of 2 to 4 inches. Plum School District has a two-hour delay in response to the snow that has already accumulated. It is one of more than 200 delays and closings in the Pittsburgh region. Riverview students will report at normally scheduled times. Plum and Oakmont residents should take care to bundle up with the low temperatures and wind chill advisory, according to the National Weather Service.
