A local author isn’t afraid to ruffle a few feathers in his recently released book that contains numerous humor columns and short stories he’s penned over the past few years. Mike Buzzelli, who lives in Scott Township and graduated from Chartiers Valley in 1981, credits his upbringing for his humor and work ethic. But not before the track, which straddles the municipal border between Scott …

Authorities on March 14 filed charges against 34-year-old Raemone Hollins with two felony counts of failing to comply with registration rules as a sex offender. Scott Township police Sgt. Jeff Skees said authorities do not know where he is and are asking for the public to contact authorities with any information on his location. Skees said the U.S. Marshals Service approached the township police department when analysts there noticed he hadn’t registered since July 19, 2010, even though he’s required to do so annually or when he moves to a new residence.
