Here are the Plum police reports for April 2 to April 8.
A Plum resident's stolen jewelry was found at a nearby coin shop. According to Plum police, a Kane Road resident reported on March 25 that $1,625 worth of jewelry had been stolen from her jewelry box. Police recovered all the items at Pat and BJ Coins on Route 286 in Monroeville—right at the Plum border. Officers are investigating the theft to determine who sold the jewelry. Here's a look at the Plum police reports for Dec. 18 to Jan. 2.
The following incidents were reported to the Plum Police Department. Information was obtained from call logs and police reports. DUI John David Kuglmaier, 34, of Plum was charged with aggravated assault while driving under the influence, driving on the wrong side of the road, reckless driving and three counts of driving under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance after an Oct. 27 accident on Logans Ferry Road. According to police, Kuglmaier is accused of crossing the road median, hitting a guiderail and then striking another vehicle. Kuglmaier and the driver of the other vehicle had to be extricated from their vehicles by local fire departments. Assault Anthony A. Mawhinney III, 36, of Plum was charged with simple assault and …

The following incidents were reported to Oakmont police. Information was obtained from police reports and call logs. Simple Assault Nikki Mae Srdich, 21, of Verona was charged with two counts of simple assault after a Nov. 2 incident on Potomac Street. During a preliminary hearing Wednesday, charges against three women involved in an alleged child abuse incident at the Genesis Child Care facility in Plum were held for common pleas court.
Three women accused of being involved in a child abuse case at the Genesis Child Care at Pittsburgh East Community Church will go before a common pleas court judge. During a three-and-a-half hour preliminary hearing at Plum District Justice Linda Zucco's courtroom on Wednesday, Eileen Marie Andrews, 44, a former worker at the facility—it has since closed—was held on two counts of simple assault and four counts of endangering the welfare of children. Childcare Director Angela Marie Russo, 49, and Director of Children's Services Terry Lynn Bachner, 43, were each held on two counts of endangering the welfare of children and two counts of failure to report abuse. Here are the Plum police reports for July 24 to July 30.
The following incidents were reported to the Plum Police Department. Information was obtained from police reports and call logs. Fight Police were called to Saltsburg Road for a truck stopped in the middle of the road on July 28. According to the police report, a father and son from Elizabeth were fighting inside the vehicle and had to be separated. Neither have been charged yet. Burglary A burglary was reported on Sherrie Drive on July 23. Jewelry, money and an iPod were missing. Vehicle Fire A vehicle fire was reported at the Cash and Carry on Saltsburg Road on July 29.
