The all-ages show begins at 8 p.m. Friday, April 26 and tickets are on sale.
Bill Deasy has toured nationally behind 11 critically acclaimed albums, four with the Gathering Field, and seven as a solo artist. On Friday, April 26, the Oakmont singer, songwriter and novelist will return to the origins of his inspiration with a full-band concert and CD release party of his latest record "Start Again" at the Oaks Theater in Oakmont. The all-ages show begins at 8 p.m. and tickets are available now. With "Start Again," Deasy presents 11 new songs, produced by Chris Parker, that summon faint--and not so faint--strands of the songwriter's heroes: Jackson Browne, Bruce Springsteen, Alex Chilton, John Hiatt, Rickie Lee Jones, Neil Young and Van Morrison.
