The following incidents were reported to the Plum Police Department. Information was obtained from police reports and call logs. Theft Mario Anthony Sarnic, 39, of Murrysville was charged with theft and theft by failure to make required disposition of funds after an incident on Dec. 17, 2012. Antonyo Lorenzo Williams, 20, of Plum was charged with theft after an incident on Feb. 8. Assault Nicole Marie Petro, 33, of Plum was charged with two counts of simple assault and two counts of harassment after a Feb. 12 incident. The following incidents were reported to the Plum Police Department. Information was obtained from police reports and call logs. Robbery Update Police continue to investigate an armed robbery that occurred at Sheetz on Route 289 last week. Police report that a man robbed the store at gunpoint at about 2:45 a.m. on Jan. 29. He is described as light-skinned and was wearing a dark hoodie, black jeans, black shoes and a black and white bandana to cover his face. The robber took off with about $400 and was last seen running toward Pine Valley Drive. Theft A Knollwood Court resident reported that a laptop was stolen from his unlocked car on Jan. 24. A Verona man was caught stealing from cars in the area of Jacob and Whited streets.
A Verona man was arrested in Brookline on Tuesday morning after a witness told police he saw the man breaking into cars in the area of Jacob and Whited streets. Pittsburgh police responded to the 2000 block of Jacob Street for a report of a suspicious person. A witness told officers that he'd seen a man enter two cars that did not belong to him, then leave the area and walk toward Whited Street. Police and a K-9 unit conducted a search in the area. Mark Cahill, 47, was found in a vehicle in the 1900 block of Jacob Street and was arrested. Investigators say Robert Osselborn charged former Cincinnati Bengals linebacker Tom Tumulty, a Penn Hills native, for a trip to Jackson Hole, WY, that never materialized.
A Butler County man faces charges in three counties for bilking thousands of dollars from multiple victims, including a former NFL player who grew up in Penn Hills. Authorities said Robert Osselborn—who lists addresses in Mars, Butler and New Castle, Lawrence County—posed as a representative of a television show about hunting to entice former Cincinnati Bengals linebacker Tom Tumulty of Adams Township to give him money. In exchange, Osselborn promised Tumulty a spot in a group trip to Jackson Hole, WY and said the trip could be recorded and aired on the show, according to investigators.. “He was very legitimate and very detailed about the hunting story,” Tumulty said Tuesday. Assault A Plum woman faces charges after being accused of assaulting police. Alexis Monique Hall, 28, of Plum was charged with reckless driving, driving at an unsafe speed, failure to stop at a stop sign, two counts of endangering the welfare of children, two counts of recklessly endangering another person, three counts of resisting arrest and three counts of aggravated assault.
