There could be very little rush to the Monday morning rush hour. The National Weather Service in Pittsburgh has issued a winter weather advisory from 1 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday for most of Western Pennsylvania, including Plum, Oakmont and Verona. A mixture of snow, sleet, and freezing rain is expected overnight into Monday morning. Due to very cold ground and snow pack, roads and sidewalks are expected to be icy. It's going to be a snowy weekend! If you just shoveled your driveway or sidewalk, get ready to do it again. The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm warning for a wintery mix of freezing rain, sleet and snow, going into effect at 7 tonight and ending at 1 p.m. Saturday. The area is supposed to get 1/4-inch of ice and 1 to 4 inches of snow total. Tonight's low is 24 degrees, with a high of 32 Saturday. Snow likely will start before midnight Saturday, then snow, freezing rain and sleet. New overnight snow and sleet accumulation of 1 to 3 inches is possible. During the day on Saturday, there will be periods of snow, freezing rain, and sleet before 3 p.m., with a slight chance of snow between 3 and 4 p.m. New snow and sleet …
