2013 Ash Wednesday Services in Plum, Oakmont & Verona
Lent officially begins on Wednesday, Feb. 13.
Wednesday marks the first day of the 2013 Lent season. Here's a list of Ash Wednesday services in Plum, Oakmont and Verona: PLUM Our Lady of Joy Parish—There will be services at 6:15 a.m., 8:30 a.m., 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. Ashes will be distributed after the homily during these Liturgies. Saint John the Baptist Catholic Church—Ashes will be distributed during the 7 a.m., 9 a.m., 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. services. Saint Januarius Church—Masses will be held at 7 a.m., 9 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. Liturgy of the word with ash distribution will be at noon and 4 p.m. OAKMONT Saint Irenaeus Catholic Church—Ashes will be distributed at 8 a.m., 10 a.m., and 7 p.m. services.
