Fourth of July is just around the corner, so it's time to celebrate with cookouts and fireworks. Here's a quick look at some of the events going on nearby: Over the weekend New Kensington—The City of New Kensington will be hosting a block party and fireworks on Saturday, June 30. The block party begins at 5 p.m. on Fourth Avenue between Eighth and Ninth streets. There will be games, food, music and rides until it gets dark. Then, the fireworks begin! Three Rivers Regatta—The 2012 EQT Pittsburgh Three Rivers Regatta begins in downtown Pittsburgh on June 30 and runs through July 4. There are plenty of activities and events to enjoy with the family.
