Plum School Students Raise Money for Make-A-Wish

Schools are gearing up for the annual telethon, filmed at the high school.

It's no surprise that Plum School District is a big supporter of the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Each year, the high school students produce, direct and star in a six-hour long telethon to raise money for the organization that grants the wishes of children with life-threatening conditions. This year's telethon will air and be filmed on Dec. 21 at the school. In the meantime, students and teachers have gotten a kick start on fundraising for the organization. The Holiday Park Elementary teachers will be cooking, taking orders and serving the patrons of McDonald's on Route 286 tonight, Dec. 11, from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. to benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
