Riverview Unveils New Website

The school district launched a new website with more information for visitors.

Anyone visiting the Riverview School District website might have noticed it got quite the makeover. Earlier this week, the district launched a new site with more information for students, parents and teachers. Among the highlights are pages for each school building, easier access to contact information, a user-friendly calendar and links to sources important to the community. Parents also can subscribe to email alerts for each school building or the district as a whole. Bob Dunkle, district technology director, and others have been working on revamping the site throughout the summer months. He said that while the site is live, there's still some work to be done. County Offers More Assistance for Property Owners with 2013 Court-Ordered Reassessment

Town hall meetings, website improvements and phone services can help property owners.

Allegheny County is offering further efforts to assist property owners with the 2013 court-ordered reassessment. These initiatives include website improvements, data correction by phone, remote locations for informal reviews and town hall meetings, according to a press release from County Executive Rich Fitzgerald.
