Andrew Witchey, Neighbor

I was born in raised in Lower Burrell and, as many I'm sure do, had this itching feeling that I had to leave Pittsburgh after graduating from Saint Joseph High School in 2007.  I shipped off to Boston to attend Emerson College, but two years later my journey brought me right back to my roots.

Now I'm finishing up my final undergraduate semester at Point Park Univeristy, studying Cinema and Digital Arts.  Somewhere along the lines I picked up a camera and have had trouble setting it down (though I'm not complaining!).  

When I'm not in class or out shooting photos, I'm usually running the streets of Pittsburgh.  I guess you could say its in my blood, as my Dad is a marathon runner and I've followed in his foot steps, though when running, he's usually following mine.  Bad puns aside, I really love to run.  Its the only time my head has a chance to catch up.

If I get a free weekend I try to spend it at Lake Chautauqua in Western New York.  I've been visiting there since I was a kid and its just a relaxing place to get away.  Not to mention, the photo opportunities are incredible!
