Originally from Plum, my family moved to the South for a few years only to return to Western Pennsylvania allowing me to finish up my high school years at Franklin Regional in Murrysville.

After graduating from Point Park University, I returned to Plum in 2006 to raise my own family, which consists of my husband (whom I married in Oct. 2007), son (born in Jan. 2010), dog and five cats.  I have come to love, respect and treasure my community and have found it to be pretty much the same as it was when I was a child, which is comforting and admirable.

I love learning just about anything so my profession as a writer is a perfect fit. I enjoy working out (really, I do), yoga, baking, cooking, camping, sitting around a bonfire, cheering on the Pittsburgh Penguins, organizing, watching movies, listening to music, playing the guitar, living healthfully and happily and helping my family, friends and neighbors do the same.

I have chosen Plum to be home now and forever for my family, and I look forward to learning more about my community.
